My name is Jacinda Nembhard, I'm a dynamic and creative Digital PR professional, social media manager, and communication strategist. My work is rooted in storytelling, data-driven insights, and strategic communication to push brands to transcend their industry's style to inspire and form engaging communities. I strive to build not only deeper connections between brands and their audiences but also trust.

I've helped steer successful integrated marketing campaigns - gaining more than 800 organic views to the campaign page, with socials seeing 115% in audience growth. While a revamped newsletter hit a whopping 80% open rate, blowing past the industry average by 20%.

Currently, I serve as the Assistant Director for Communication and Programs at Rutgers Center for Minority Serving Institutions and the Samuel DeWitt Proctor Institute for Leadership, Equity, and Justice at the Rutgers Graduate School of Education to elevate the educational contributions of Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs) and increase rigorous scholarship on higher education to ensure a more just and equitable education landscape.

When i'm not immersed in work, I enjoy baking, building Pinterest boards (e.g., fashion, beauty, baking, etc.), attending museum exhibitions, and traveling with my friends.
